In an impressive comeback on its third Saturday, the Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi-starrer Tiger 3 witnessed a substantial surge in box office numbers, reclaiming its momentum after a slight decline last week. After a solid Rs 3.80 crore on Friday, director Maneesh Sharma’s film experienced an impressive 57 percent boost, accumulating Rs 6 crore on Saturday. This surge brings the total box office collection for Tiger 3 to an impressive Rs 264.70 crore. The film maintained an overall 19.94% Hindi Occupancy on Saturday.
Starring Katrina and Salman reprising their iconic roles as spies Avinash and Zoya, with Emraan Hashmi adding intensity as the antagonist, Tiger 3 also features talented actors Revathy and Vishal Jethwa. Despite its Diwali release, the film had a remarkable opening day, minting Rs 44.5 crore. According to reports from Sacnilk, Tiger 3 has achieved global success with a total worldwide collection of Rs 420 crore.
This installment is the fifth in YRF’s renowned spy series, following the success of Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan. While Tiger 3 has demonstrated strong performance at the box office, it has yet to surpass the extraordinary earnings of its predecessors. For comparison, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan achieved a stellar Rs 543.05 crore in India, and War, starring Hrithik Roshan, amassed Rs 317.91 crore. To surpass War’s domestic collections, Tiger 3 still needs to generate over Rs 53 crore, keeping audiences eagerly anticipating its continued success.
